One of my favorite things to do is cook.  It's probably a good thing since I'm a very particular eater.  I have a lot of stomach/ digestive problems so I'm usually conscious of what I put into my body.  I've been cooking since I was a kid and had my own very cute apron.  I mostly got in my Mom's way, but I tell myself I was a big help.  After high school, I spent many days a week in the kitchen learning to cook with her.  It was our thing.  Now that have the basics down, I love to explore, try new recipes, and tweak old ones.
